Teacher’s Day Celebration

A good teacher is the master of simplification and an enemy of simplism Teacher’s Day was celebrated with great fervour. On this occasion, the young Sagarites presented an array of captivating cultural performances. The event was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp and garlanding the portraits of Goddess Saraswati and Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Students showcased dances, skits, and melodious songs highlighting the greatness of teachers. In the address, it was emphasised that students and teachers are incomplete without each other. Shaping the future and character of students has always been a priority for teachers. Insights were shared about Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan through a dance drama, appreciating the respect and honour given by students to their teachers. At Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham, teachers are not just educators, they are revered as the highest pillars of wisdom and respect, shaping futures with every lesson taught.

Eco- Friendly Ganesha Making Activity

"Ganesha's teachings light the path of life" Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham organized Eco- Friendly Ganesha Making Activity on 4th September 2024 for young sagarites of class Nursery to KGII. Students were encouraged to create their Mini Ganesha using paper Mache. It was organized to develop the motor skills as well as to inculcate the traditional values in them and also to sensitize them towards the environment. Mud is a messy and joyous medium full of great possibilities, our tiny tots were all smiles with a sense of accomplishment.

Inter House Badminton Championship

Inter SPS Swimming Championship

*The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential… these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.* On August 31, 2024, Sagar Public School Dwarka Dham hosted the *Inter SPS Swimming Championship*, a grand event that brought together a large number of participants from all branches of SPS schools. #Young #swimmers displayed their prowess across various categories, setting the stage for an intense and exhilarating competition. The #event was graced by Ms *Sheila Charles,* a renowned female sailor of India, recipient of the prestigious #Eklavya Award, and an international representative of the nation. Her presence added immense value, inspiring the young athletes to push their boundaries and aim for excellence. The #championship was adorned with a series of cultural performances. Sagarites captivated the audience with a melodious rendition of Raag Malhar, originally crafted by Miya Tansen, showcasing their deep appreciation for classical music. Adding to the patriotic spirit, an enthralling dance performance was dedicated to the National Security Guards (NSG), honouring their relentless service in safeguarding the nation. The event concluded with a thrilling climax as Team *SPS Gandhi Nagar* emerged victorious, clinching the overall trophy. *Sagar Public School Dwarka Dham* continues to set new standards in holistic education, where academics, sports, and cultural enrichment go hand in hand, creating well-rounded individuals ready to make their mark on the world.

The theme of truth and non-violence

"Non-violence is the weapon of the strong" - Mahatma Gandhi Pratham House students conducted an assembly on the theme of truth and non-violence, guided by Mahatma Gandhi's words: "Truth and non-violence are as old as the hills." In today's fast-paced world, where people often overlook the importance of empathy and care for others, the assembly highlighted how virtues like truth, non-violence, empathy, and kindness are crucial for creating a better world. The students presented a thoughtful skit and a dance performance, effectively reinforcing the significance of these timeless values. The event served as a powerful reminder of the impact that living by these principles can have on society.

Celebrated National Sports Day

It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do." – Pelé On August 29th, 2024, Sagar Public School Dwarka Dham celebrated National Sports Day in honor of Major Dhyan Chand, one of India’s greatest sports legends. The event began with a tribute to Major Dhyan Chand, where students were inspired by his dedication, discipline, and unparalleled achievements in hockey. Various sports activities were organized, promoting fitness and teamwork among students. The ‘Fittest Sagarite’ competition was a highlight, encouraging participants to push their limits and showcase their physical prowess. Madam Principal addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of sports in shaping character and instilling essential life values. She encouraged students to integrate sports into their daily lives, highlighting that success in any field. The event was a resounding success, fostering a spirit of sportsmanship and encouraging students to adopt a healthy, active lifestyle.

Rollball State Championships

Victory is the result of dedication, hard work, and the courage to pursue excellence. Sagar Public School Dwarka Dham proudly announces the achievements of the students in the Sub Junior Madhya Pradesh State Rollball Championship, held on August 25, 2024, in Bhopal, organized by the Rollball Federation of India. In the Under 14 Boys category, Dhvanit Singh Tomar (Class VI), representing Bhopal Association, won the Gold Medal, while Divy Gatkhane (Class VIII), representing Bhopal Corporation, bagged the Silver Medal. In the Under 14 Girls category, Namami Thakur (Class VI), representing Bhopal Corporation, won the Silver Medal. Anushka Gupta (Class VII) and Reet Ahlawat (Class VI), representing Bhopal Association, bagged the Bronze Medal. These impressive victories highlight the students' dedication, skill, and hard work. The school looks forward to witnessing many more such accomplishments in the future.

CARPEDIUM - a debate competition

Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out. We are thrilled to announce that four of our outstanding students: Kashish Tiwari (9A); Srishti Pathak (9A); Vaishnavi Shrivastava (9A); Saujas Khandelwal (9B) have participated in CARPEDIUM - a debate competition, organized by Sagar Public School, Gandhi Nagar, on August 24, 2024. Competing against 24 schools across the state, our students stood out with their exceptional oratory and persuasive speeches. We are proud to share that Srishti Pathak has bagged The Best Rebutter trophy! Janmashtami Celebration

Janmashtami Celebration at Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham Sagar Public School celebrated Janmashtami with great joy and excitement. The event began with a special assembly where students of class V shared the story of Lord Krishna’s life through a skit. Young Sagarites added colour and spark by showcasing their vibrant costumes of Krishna and Radha coupled with their innocent charm . Sagarites of classes I and II performed a scintillating dance performance leaving the audience spell bound .The school resonated with the sound of devotional songs followed by Krishna Arti , creating an ambience of reverence and joy . The event was a testament to the school's commitment to holistic education, where cultural awareness and academic learning go hand in hand.

Overhead Basketball Throw Competition

"It's not about being the best, it's about doing your best." A fun and engaging Overhead Basketball ???? Throw Competition was held for the young Sagarites at Sagar Public School, Dwarkadham on August 21, 2024. The event aimed to promote physical activity, hand-eye coordination, and sportsmanship among the young learners. The tiny tots of KG I and KG II participated with full enthusiasm and gusto. The event was a great opportunity for the students to learn about teamwork and sportsmanship

Rakhi Making Competition

RAKHI : The thread that ties hearts together. The month of August is filled with celebration and happiness. Raksha Bandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brother and sister. With the view to celebrate the occasion and to enhance creativity among the students, Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham , Bhopal organised Rakhi Making Competition on August 16, 2024 for our young Sagarites. Sagarites participated with full zeal and gusto to showcase their creativity.

Scaling New Heights: Sagar Public School Dwarka Dham Celebrates 78th Independence Day with Everest Conqueror Sagar Public School Dwarka Dham commemorated the 78th Independence Day with a series of inspiring events that left a lasting impact on everyone in attendance. The celebration was graced by the presence of Ms. Jyoti Ratre, the extraordinary mountaineer who scaled Mount Everest at 55, epitomizing unparalleled courage and perseverance. The day kicked off with the much-anticipated Sagarathon – Run for the Nation, a 2-kilometer marathon that saw enthusiastic participation from students, staff, and parents alike. The marathon symbolised unity and dedication to the nation, resonating deeply with the patriotic spirit of the occasion. Following the marathon, the young Sagarites showcased their love for the country in a Patriotic Dance Competition, where they sang with passion and pride. The event was a perfect blend of athleticism, inspiration, and creativity, making this year’s Independence Day celebration truly memorable.
