Overhead Basketball Throw Competition

"It's not about being the best, it's about doing your best." A fun and engaging Overhead Basketball ???? Throw Competition was held for the young Sagarites at Sagar Public School, Dwarkadham on August 21, 2024. The event aimed to promote physical activity, hand-eye coordination, and sportsmanship among the young learners. The tiny tots of KG I and KG II participated with full enthusiasm and gusto. The event was a great opportunity for the students to learn about teamwork and sportsmanship

Rakhi Making Competition

RAKHI : The thread that ties hearts together. The month of August is filled with celebration and happiness. Raksha Bandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brother and sister. With the view to celebrate the occasion and to enhance creativity among the students, Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham , Bhopal organised Rakhi Making Competition on August 16, 2024 for our young Sagarites. Sagarites participated with full zeal and gusto to showcase their creativity.

Scaling New Heights: Sagar Public School Dwarka Dham Celebrates 78th Independence Day with Everest Conqueror Sagar Public School Dwarka Dham commemorated the 78th Independence Day with a series of inspiring events that left a lasting impact on everyone in attendance. The celebration was graced by the presence of Ms. Jyoti Ratre, the extraordinary mountaineer who scaled Mount Everest at 55, epitomizing unparalleled courage and perseverance. The day kicked off with the much-anticipated Sagarathon – Run for the Nation, a 2-kilometer marathon that saw enthusiastic participation from students, staff, and parents alike. The marathon symbolised unity and dedication to the nation, resonating deeply with the patriotic spirit of the occasion. Following the marathon, the young Sagarites showcased their love for the country in a Patriotic Dance Competition, where they sang with passion and pride. The event was a perfect blend of athleticism, inspiration, and creativity, making this year’s Independence Day celebration truly memorable.

Young Sagarites celebrated Independence Day

"Freedom is like a bird that sings joyfully." Sagar Public School, Dwarkadham celebrated Independence Day with great fervor and enthusiasm. Our young Sagarites from Nursery to Grade 3 showcased their patriotic spirit by dressing up as national heroes and tricolor attire ???? The highlight of the day was a spectacular show of dance, music, and speeches that exemplified our students' love and respect for the nation. ???? We are proud of our students for their energetic performances and patriotic spirit! ???????? Throughout the day, our students engaged in various activities and events that promoted patriotism, unity, and national pride.

Sanskrit Diwas

भाषासु मुख्या मधुरा,दिव्या गीर्वाणभारती। विद्यालय में बुधवार दिनांक 14/08/24 को कक्षा छठवीं से आठवीं के अन्तर्गत 'संस्कृत दिवस' का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में छात्रों द्वारा अनेक मनमोहक एवं ज्ञानप्रद प्रस्तुतियां दी गईं।छात्रों द्वारा संस्कृत भाषा के महत्व एवं संस्कृत ग्रंथों से स्वयं के चरित्र निर्माण हेतु प्रेरित किया। गीत,संगीत, द्वारा कार्यक्रम की शोभा में अभिवृद्धि की गई।कार्यक्रम में अभिनय द्वारा सप्तऋषियों और संस्कृत की महान विदुषी गार्गी ,अनुसूया और अहिल्या के बारे में जानकारी दी गई ।कार्यक्रम में सभी विद्यार्थियों ने सराहनीय भूमिका निभाई और प्रशंसा के पात्र बने। धन्यवाद ।

PTM II 2024-25

The school hosted the second Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM-2) on August 10, 2024, providing a valuable platform for collaboration between parents and teachers. This meeting focused on celebrating the achievements of students and discussing strategies to further support their development. The event also featured an insightful session with Dietician Dr. Amita Singh, who shared expert advice on nutrition. Her guidance highlighted the importance of a balanced diet in the holistic growth of students, ensuring they were equipped to thrive both academically and personally. The meeting concluded with a sense of accomplishment, knowing that collective efforts would continue to shape a brighter future for the students. Parents' involvement has a significant impact, and their continued engagement is crucial in fostering a supportive learning environment.

National Sub Junior Kurash Championship

Sagar Public School Dwarka Dham Applauds Mansi Tripathi's National Achievement Success is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure. Sagar Public School Dwarka Dham applauds Mansi Tripathi of Class IX for her outstanding performance and securing the third position in the National Sub Junior Kurash Championship. This prestigious event, organized by the UP Kurash Association under the auspices of The Indian Kurash Association, witnessed participation from talented athletes across the country. We congratulate Mansi Tripathi on her remarkable accomplishment and wish her continued success in her future endeavors.

Soft Javelin Throw Competition

Soft Javelin Throw Competition was successfully conducted on August 7, 2024 at Sagar Public School Dwarka Dham. Classes I to III competed in the event. The competition saw a strong turnout of participants eager to showcase their throwing prowess. Two attempts were given to each participant . A briefing regarding the rules of the competition was done telling the students about fouls , scoring etc. Their exceptional technique and strength were evident throughout the event. The competition was marked by enthusiastic participation and a great sporting spirit. All participants displayed commendable effort and skill. The event concluded on a positive note, with participants and spectators alike enjoying the friendly atmosphere and competitive edge.

Judo Camp

The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham, successfully conducted a three-days Aspire Session from August 8th to August 10th, aimed at enriching our students' proficiency in Judo. The session was graced by Ms. Shikha Pathak, the Head of the Asian Union Referee Commission and Joint Secretary of the Ju-Jitsu Association of India, who provided exceptional insights and expertise. The programme included warm-up exercises and fundamental training led by Ms. Shikha Pathak on the first day, followed by advanced techniques and counter combinations on the second day, guided by Ms. Porineto and Ms. Sumon. Additionally, meditation and relaxation sessions were incorporated to enhance mental resilience. The final day focused on continuing advanced training and discussing Judo psychology and competitive preparation. The Aspire Session not only provided rigorous training but also instilled a deeper appreciation for discipline, focus, and perseverance among the participants. Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham, remains dedicated to fostering excellence in our students, preparing them not just for competitions, but for life.

Show and Tell

"Toys are children's words and play is their language." The 'Show and Tell' activity at Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham provided a delightful opportunity for KG I students to showcase their favorite toys. This event not only allowed the children to express their personal interests but also helped in developing their public speaking skills. Engaging with their peers in such a creative way, the students demonstrated confidence and enthusiasm, which are essential attributes for their holistic development. Activities like these are crucial in early education, fostering a sense of community and shared learning among young learners.

ASPIRE Session on Career Choices

"Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful." An ASPIRE Session was conducted at Sagar Public School Dwarka Dham, featuring Prof. Nishant Shrivastava, Associate Professor and Head of the Business School at the Sagar Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal. The session, themed "How to Make the Right Career Choices," was specifically designed for the students of classes 8 and 9. Prof. Nishant Shrivastava began the session by emphasising the importance of self-awareness and understanding one's strengths and interests when considering future career paths. He provided practical advice on how students could evaluate their skills and passions, and align them with potential career options. The students were engaged and participative, asking insightful questions and eagerly absorbing the information shared. Prof. Shrivastava's approachable manner and expert knowledge made complex concepts easy to understand, and his real-world examples resonated well with the audience.

District level Open Swimming competition Winner

Himanshi Lilani of Class V from SPS Dwarka Dham participated in the District level Open Swimming competition held at IES Public School,Bhopal on July 31, 2024 Himanshi is the Group Individual Champion in U 12 category with 3 Gold medals. ????????Congratulations to her for the achievement and all the best for the future competitions.
