Young Sagarites celebrated Independence Day

Sanskrit Diwas

भाषासु मुख्या मधुरा,दिव्या गीर्वाणभारती। विद्यालय में बुधवार दिनांक 14/08/24 को कक्षा छठवीं से आठवीं के अन्तर्गत 'संस्कृत दिवस' का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में छात्रों द्वारा अनेक मनमोहक एवं ज्ञानप्रद प्रस्तुतियां दी गईं।छात्रों द्वारा संस्कृत भाषा के महत्व एवं संस्कृत ग्रंथों से स्वयं के चरित्र निर्माण हेतु प्रेरित किया। गीत,संगीत, द्वारा कार्यक्रम की शोभा में अभिवृद्धि की गई।कार्यक्रम में अभिनय द्वारा सप्तऋषियों और संस्कृत की महान विदुषी गार्गी ,अनुसूया और अहिल्या के बारे में जानकारी दी गई ।कार्यक्रम में सभी विद्यार्थियों ने सराहनीय भूमिका निभाई और प्रशंसा के पात्र बने। धन्यवाद ।

Soft Javelin Throw Competition was successfully conducted on August 7, 2024 at Sagar Public School Dwarka Dham. Classes I to III competed in the event. The competition saw a strong turnout of participants eager to showcase their throwing prowess. Two attempts were given to each participant . A briefing regarding the rules of the competition was done telling the students about fouls , scoring etc. Their exceptional technique and strength were evident throughout the event. The competition was marked by enthusiastic participation and a great sporting spirit. All participants displayed commendable effort and skill. Judo Camp

The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham, successfully conducted a three-days Aspire Session from August 8th to August 10th, aimed at enriching our students' proficiency in Judo. The session was graced by Ms. Shikha Pathak, the Head of the Asian Union Referee Commission and Joint Secretary of the Ju-Jitsu Association of India, who provided exceptional insights and expertise. The programme included warm-up exercises and fundamental training led by Ms. Shikha Pathak on the first day, followed by advanced techniques and counter combinations on the second day, guided by Ms. Porineto and Ms. Sumon. Additionally, meditation and relaxation sessions were incorporated to enhance mental resilience. The final day focused on continuing advanced training and discussing Judo psychology and competitive preparation. The Aspire Session not only provided rigorous training but also instilled a deeper appreciation for discipline, focus, and perseverance among the participants. An ASPIRE Session was conducted at Sagar Public School Dwarka Dham, featuring Prof. Nishant Shrivastava, Associate Professor and Head of the Business School at the Sagar Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal. The session, themed "How to Make the Right Career Choices," was specifically designed for the students of classes 8 and 9. Prof. Nishant Shrivastava began the session by emphasising the importance of self-awareness and understanding one's strengths and interests when considering future career paths. He provided practical advice on how students could evaluate their skills and passions, and align them with potential career options. Science and Mathematics are not just subjects, but the very essence of understanding our universe and shaping our future On July 31, the school organized Spectrum, its annual exhibition, under the theme "Nipun Bharat - A Vision for Progress." The exhibition showcased the talents and creativity of students from nursery to class 9. Nursery to class 2 students depicted India's rich diversity, illustrating how each state contributes to the nation's unique identity. Classes 3 to 5 focused on "STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics." They presented innovative maths and science projects, demonstrating their understanding and creativity. Classes 6 to 9 explored "Global to Local," highlighting global innovations and local traditions. The event was graced by esteemed judges including Dr. Dharmendra Sharma, working under the Madhya Pradesh Skills Development Project, Government of Madhya Pradesh, as an assessment certification officer at Global Skills Park City Campus, Bhopal, Dr. Saurav Shishuome, Professor in Science Education and Curriculum Studies at Azeem Premji University, Ms. Kavita Shrivastava, owner and principal of Shikshalaya Teachers Training Institute and a certified Vedic Maths instructor and Dr. Setu Sharma, an accomplished and dedicated design educator with extensive experience in teaching visual arts and design. The purpose of Judo is to perfect oneself and contribute something of value to the world The school held its eagerly awaited Inter-House Judo Competition on July 24, 2024. The event showcased the skills and dedication of students who had been meticulously trained over the past months. The competition was organized based on weight categories, ensuring fair and balanced matchups among the participants. Students from all four houses—Aryabhat, Bhaskar, Pratham, and Rohini—competed with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. The event concluded with remarkable victories for Aryabhat House and Rohini House, whose students demonstrated exceptional prowess and determination. Pratham House also put up a commendable performance, securing the position of runners-up. In a grand closing ceremony, the winners were awarded the coveted trophy, celebrating their hard work and achievements.
