Educational trip to the Tribal Museum

On December 13, 2024, the #Sagarites of Classes 3 to 5 from Sagar Public School, #Dwarka #Dham, embarked on an educational visit to the #Tribal #Museum. The visit provided them with an enriching opportunity to delve into #India’s diverse tribal #heritage. The Sagarites explored various exhibits featuring traditional artefacts, clothing, and tools, which offered a glimpse into the everyday lives of tribal communities. The life-size models of tribal huts particularly captured their imagination and curiosity, bringing the exhibits to life. The visit concluded with a reflective discussion, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of India’s rich cultural legacy among the #Sagarites.

Counselling Session for Class III

Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham, conducted an enlightening counselling session for Class III #Sagarites on Personal Hygiene, guided by the theme "Stay Healthy Stay Fresh". The session was led by the school counsellor Ms Seijal Prajapati, who shared valuable insights into the significance of #cleanliness in everyday life. Nursery children meet with nature

Our nursery children embarked on an exciting adventure to explore the #wonderful world of leaves around our school premises! As they wandered through, they discovered a variety of leaves in different shapes, sizesand colours. The children #enthusiastically collected and examined the leaves, learning about their textures and smells. This interactive experience fostered curiosity, a love for #nature, and developed essential #skills like observation and classification. It was a delightful and enriching experience for our little explorers!

English and Hindi Handwriting Competition

A neat and beautiful #writing always seeks the attention of others. To develop #awareness and #love for #handwriting. English and Hindi Handwriting Competition was held on December 11, 2024, at Sagar Public School, Dwarkadham for the #Sagarites of classes KG I to II. All the Sagarites participated #enthusiastically in the competition, and they were asked to write one page in the best of their handwriting. The competition brought out the talent and creativity of the #Sagarites. The importance of good handwriting was re-emphasised through the competition.

Human Rights Day

On December 10th, Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham, commemorated Human Rights Day with a special assembly to honor the values of dignity, equality, and justice. The day marks the adoption of the #Universal Declaration of #HumanRights (UDHR) in 1948 by the #United #Nations, a pivotal document that upholds fundamental rights and freedoms for all individuals. #Sagarites and teachers came together to reflect on the importance of human rights and the challenges faced by millions #worldwide due to discrimination and oppression. Sagarites Bring Patriotism and Progress Alive at "Nav Bharat Ki Aur" Annual Day Celebration \r\n#Sagarites of Sagar Public School Dwarka Dham took the stage with awe-inspiring performances during their annual day celebration, themed ‘Nav Bharat Ki Aur.’ Sagarites, with an array of captivating acts, celebrated India’s transformation journey from 1947 to its vision for 2047. The celebration was a testament to the creativity, talent, and dedication of over 800 Sagarites, showcasing the school’s commitment to nurturing academic and cultural excellence. Prof. Raghunath Sahoo, Department of Physics, #IIT #Indore, graced the evening as the Chief Guest and was accorded the guard of honour by the school band.

In a thrilling display of energy and skill, the #Inter-House #Football Competition saw Bhaskar House claim victory among the four competing houses. The tournament was filled with standout performances, especially from Saujas Khandelwal of Bhaskar House, whose agility and leadership on the field inspired his team. Gagan Thakur and Pankit from Rohini House also excelled as star players, showcasing strategic prowess and resilience. By providing opportunities for students to engage in sports, the school continues to build its legacy of fostering teamwork, discipline, and determination, essential qualities both on and off the field.

Unfolding Creativity: Origami Extravaganza\r\nOur young #Sagarites embarked on an exhilarating Origami journey, transforming simple paper sheets into mesmerizing designs: - Dogs, Cats, Lotus etc. The activity helped in developing problem-solving skills, imagination, creativity, Fostered patience, focus, and fine motor skills in our tiny tots. Origami's timeless magic ignited a spark within our budding artists.

Recreational Race

“The only way to define your limits is by going beyond them.”\r\nThe 30-metre Recreational Race organised by the school for the Tiny tots of Nursery to KG II was a joyful celebration of energy, innocence, and participation. With bright smiles and eager steps, the little athletes sprinted down the track, greeted by cheers from parents and teachers. This event wasn’t just about winning—it was about fostering confidence, teamwork, and the joy of movement, inspiring children to embrace physical activities wholeheartedly.\r\nBeyond the finish line, the children were applauded for their enthusiasm and spirit, with each participant receiving recognition. Events like these nurture essential values early on, creating spaces where children can grow, learn, and enjoy themselves, making their first steps in sports truly unforgettable.

Inter-House Cricket Competition

Winning isn't everything, but wanting to win is\r\nThe cricketing spirit was at its peak as Sagar Public School Dwarka Dham hosted the Inter-House Cricket Competition, which was filled with energy and sportsmanship. In the first semi-final, Pratham House outplayed Aryabhatt House by 42 runs, while Rohini House clinched a 23-run victory over Bhaskar House to book their place in the finals.\r\nRohini House claimed victory in the finals, defeating Pratham House by 10 wickets to lift the trophy. Star players Vidhan Kalra (Pratham House) and Yuvraj Motwani ( Rohini House) impressed the spectators with their skills throughout the tournament. Heartiest congratulations to Rohini House on their well-earned victory.

Class IV embraced the future with their topic, "The Arrival of Electric Vehicles," presenting insights on the transition to sustainable transportation. Meanwhile, Class V delved into the critical topic, "Goals for Sustainable Development," emphasising the need to build a better future for the planet.\r\nStudents delivered well-researched content, backed by engaging presentations, thoughtful props, and creative costumes, making their performances truly commendable. \r\nThe event provided an invaluable learning experience, helping students develop communication skills, overcome stage fear, and prepare for future leadership roles.
