The fourth Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM)

The fourth Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) of the academic year at Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham, was conducted on January 11, 2025. Renowned experts, including Sheetal Jha, judged the event, offering valuable feedback and selecting winners in each category. Aspire session - Dr. Ravi Chatterjee

The Aspire session conducted today at Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham, was an enriching experience for the students of Classes VII to IX. Dr. Ravi Chatterjee, Associate Professor and Head of Research at Symbiosis International University, Dubai, delivered an engaging talk on "The Basics of Research and Cultivating Curiosity." The session commenced at 9:30 AM, focusing on fostering students' curiosity and encouraging a structured approach to exploring topics of interest. Dr. Chatterjee inspired the students by emphasizing the importance of a systematic process in research and shared practical strategies to develop expertise. To make the session interactive, Dr. Chatterjee incorporated insights from a pre-session survey filled out by students, tailoring the content to their preferences and expectations. Maths Day Celebration

Cyclothon - "Pedal for Peace"

Bhopal, December 22, 2024 – Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham proudly concluded Cyclothon, themed "Pedal for Peace" which attracted a remarkable turnout from the community. The event aimed to promote peace, harmony, and sustainability while encouraging physical fitness among participants. The Cyclothon kicked off at Lalghati and concluded at Retghat, covering a distance of 4.5 km. It was an honour to have Mr. Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha, an esteemed Vikram Award Winner and international #cyclist, as the Chief Guest for the day. Additionally, Mr. Vinod Pandey, an esteemed member of the Bhopal Bicycle Riders' Group (#BBRG), graced the event as the Guest of Honour. With a total of 450 participants, the event witnessed overwhelming enthusiasm, showcasing the community's commitment to #health and #wellbeing. The warm atmosphere was amplified by a motivating speech from the Principal, Ms. Arti Khillan, who underscored the importance of peace, community service, and fitness. Dr. Madhubala Chauhan, Dean- Sagar Public Schools, further inspired participants with her words, emphasising the vital role of health and fitness in shaping a vibrant and harmonious community.

Fancy Dress Competition- " Exploring the Garden"

Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham, hosted a delightful Fancy Dress Competition for #Sagarites #Nursery to #KG2 with the theme " Exploring the Garden". Children dressed as insects, flowers, trees, and gardening tools, bringing the garden to life with creativity and charm. Participants confidently introduced their characters, from buzzing bees and #blooming flowers to proud trees and helpful garden tools. The event showcased their talent, creativity, and #environmental awareness. The competition was graced by Ms . Gunjan Gujral, the educationist and pageantry winner, along with Ms . Janvi Sharma, who is working to shape the young minds over a decade. The competition concluded with a prize distribution and appreciation for the students’ efforts. It was a joyful and successful event, leaving everyone inspired by the little ones' imagination and #enthusiasm.

On December 13, 2024, the #Sagarites of Classes 3 to 5 from Sagar Public School, #Dwarka #Dham, embarked on an educational visit to the #Tribal #Museum. The visit provided them with an enriching opportunity to delve into #India’s diverse tribal #heritage. The Sagarites explored various exhibits featuring traditional artefacts, clothing, and tools, which offered a glimpse into the everyday lives of tribal communities. The life-size models of tribal huts particularly captured their imagination and curiosity, bringing the exhibits to life. The visit concluded with a reflective discussion, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of India’s rich cultural legacy among the #Sagarites.

Counselling Session for Class III

Nursery children meet with nature

Our nursery children embarked on an exciting adventure to explore the #wonderful world of leaves around our school premises! As they wandered through, they discovered a variety of leaves in different shapes, sizesand colours. The children #enthusiastically collected and examined the leaves, learning about their textures and smells. This interactive experience fostered curiosity, a love for #nature, and developed essential #skills like observation and classification. It was a delightful and enriching experience for our little explorers!

English and Hindi Handwriting Competition

A neat and beautiful #writing always seeks the attention of others. To develop #awareness and #love for #handwriting. English and Hindi Handwriting Competition was held on December 11, 2024, at Sagar Public School, Dwarkadham for the #Sagarites of classes KG I to II. All the Sagarites participated #enthusiastically in the competition, and they were asked to write one page in the best of their handwriting. The competition brought out the talent and creativity of the #Sagarites. The importance of good handwriting was re-emphasised through the competition.
