ASPIRE Session on Traffic Rules and Road Safety

Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham, hosted an enlightening #ASPIRE Session on Traffic Rules and Road Safety on January 22, 2025 featuring esteemed guests ACP Devendra Yadav, Girish Yadav from the Traffic Education Cell, and Traffic Inspector Mr Kanhaiya Lal Meena. The session was organised as part of the Government of India's project "#Parvah", which aims to foster awareness about traffic rules and road safety, particularly among young children. The initiative aligns with the school’s commitment to nurturing responsible citizens. During the session, the speakers #emphasised the importance of adhering to traffic rules, wearing helmets, and using seat belts. They also demonstrated essential safety measures such as pedestrian crossing techniques, the significance of traffic signals, and the dangers of reckless driving. The ASPIRE Session proved to be an impactful initiative, leaving the students inspired and better informed about the vital role of traffic discipline in ensuring safety for all.

Festivals of India celebrated

"Festivals are the heartbeat of a culture, bringing people together to celebrate the richness of tradition and the joy of shared experiences." Keeping the immense spirit of Indian culture in their hearts, the students of Class KG II "A" staged their special assembly on 17 January 2025 on the topic - *Festivals of India. From the dazzling lights of Diwali to the colourful fun of Holi, the joyful moments of Eid to Christmas, our young Sagarites explored the unique festivals of India. They spoke about diverse religions, cultures and the colourful festivals celebrated in our country. Festivals in India are celebrated with great joy and happiness. The assembly was concluded with a mesmerizing dance presentation which was appreciated by all.

National Youth Day

Swami Vivekananda - National Youth Day -

The students of Class V-C presented a remarkable class assembly on National Youth Day on 12th January 2025 to commemorate #Swami #Vivekananda's birth anniversary. The assembly aimed to inspire the audience with the teachings and values of this great visionary. The programme's highlight was a skit on Swami Vivekananda, which beautifully depicted key moments from his life, including his famous speech at the Parliament of Religions in Chicago. The students effectively conveyed his messages of universal brotherhood, self-confidence, and dedication to service. The assembly concluded with a heartfelt message to the audience, encouraging everyone to imbibe Swami Vivekananda’s hard work, self-discipline, and perseverance values.

The fourth Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM)

The fourth Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) of the academic year at Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham, was conducted on January 11, 2025. This session held special significance as it served as a platform to address the academic areas requiring immediate attention with final exams just around the corner. Adding a festive touch to the PTM, the school organised a Kite Decorating Competition as a celebration of Makar Sankranti. Parents enthusiastically participated, designing vibrant kites that beautifully showcased the theme “India’s Diversity, Unity, and Culture.” The event brought together the creativity and spirit of the school community, reflecting the ethos of unity in diversity that defines our nation. AI and Robotics Competition

The #AI & #Robotics Competition on January 8, 2025, was a remarkable celebration of #creativity and #technology. Students enthusiastically participated in robotics projects, web designing, and game designing, showcasing innovative solutions, interactive #websites, and engaging games. Renowned experts, including Sheetal Jha, judged the event, offering valuable feedback and selecting winners in each category. The competition inspired collaboration and #innovation, #motivating participants to explore new horizons in technology.

Aspire session - Dr. Ravi Chatterjee

The Aspire session conducted today at Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham, was an enriching experience for the students of Classes VII to IX. Dr. Ravi Chatterjee, Associate Professor and Head of Research at Symbiosis International University, Dubai, delivered an engaging talk on "The Basics of Research and Cultivating Curiosity." The session commenced at 9:30 AM, focusing on fostering students' curiosity and encouraging a structured approach to exploring topics of interest. Dr. Chatterjee inspired the students by emphasizing the importance of a systematic process in research and shared practical strategies to develop expertise. To make the session interactive, Dr. Chatterjee incorporated insights from a pre-session survey filled out by students, tailoring the content to their preferences and expectations. His real-life examples and anecdotes sparked interest, leaving the students motivated to approach learning with a research-oriented mindset.

Maths Day Celebration

The day began with a #motivational skit in the morning assembly, highlighting his extraordinary contributions and unwavering passion for mathematics. Students participated in engaging activities like films on #Ramanujan, relay races, math puzzles, creative worksheets, and interactive games, blending fun with learning. These activities #33emphasized teamwork, creativity, and logical thinking, making mathematics enjoyable and relatable. Cyclothon - "Pedal for Peace"

Bhopal, December 22, 2024 – Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham proudly concluded Cyclothon, themed "Pedal for Peace" which attracted a remarkable turnout from the community. The event aimed to promote peace, harmony, and sustainability while encouraging physical fitness among participants. The Cyclothon kicked off at Lalghati and concluded at Retghat, covering a distance of 4.5 km. It was an honour to have Mr. Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha, an esteemed Vikram Award Winner and international #cyclist, as the Chief Guest for the day. Additionally, Mr. Vinod Pandey, an esteemed member of the Bhopal Bicycle Riders' Group (#BBRG), graced the event as the Guest of Honour. With a total of 450 participants, the event witnessed overwhelming enthusiasm, showcasing the community's commitment to #health and #wellbeing. The warm atmosphere was amplified by a motivating speech from the Principal, Ms. Arti Khillan, who underscored the importance of peace, community service, and fitness. Dr. Madhubala Chauhan, Dean- Sagar Public Schools, further inspired participants with her words, emphasising the vital role of health and fitness in shaping a vibrant and harmonious community.

Fancy Dress Competition- " Exploring the Garden"

Sagar Public School, Dwarka Dham, hosted a delightful Fancy Dress Competition for #Sagarites #Nursery to #KG2 with the theme " Exploring the Garden". Children dressed as insects, flowers, trees, and gardening tools, bringing the garden to life with creativity and charm. Participants confidently introduced their characters, from buzzing bees and #blooming flowers to proud trees and helpful garden tools. The event showcased their talent, creativity, and #environmental awareness. The competition was graced by Ms . Gunjan Gujral, the educationist and pageantry winner, along with Ms . Janvi Sharma, who is working to shape the young minds over a decade. The competition concluded with a prize distribution and appreciation for the students’ efforts. It was a joyful and successful event, leaving everyone inspired by the little ones' imagination and #enthusiasm.
